
Batterer's Intervention Program
A Batterer’s Intervention Program (BIP) is a structured rehabilitation and education program designed for individuals who have used domestic violence or abusive behavior in their relationships. The goal of a BIP is to help participants:

Recognize abusive behaviors

Take accountability for their actions

Learn nonviolent, respectful ways of relating

Change deeply rooted beliefs about power, control, and gender roles
What Happens in a Batterer’s Intervention Program?
1. Duration & Format

52 Week Program, with each group lasting 90 minutes

Group-based but led by trained facilitators.
