Carla's passion is to hear from God and allow Him to guide the healing process. In these prayer sessions and meditations below Carla teaches the individual to hear God's voice and walk out His directions. This process is secure in scripture and offers the most healing to the body, soul and spirit.
What Are you needing?
Opening Up in Prayer
First, start by imaging Heavenly Father when you are talking to Him, with Jesus at your right hand. If you are unable to do so, then know that Father God is looking at you in Love and Jesus is your advocate, always on your side.. you are never alone.
Govern your prayer time:
" Heavenly Father, I come to you through Jesus to engage your spirit of Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Counsel, Might, Spirit of Honor, and your Spirit. I ask that you shut the doors that need to be shut and open the doors that need to be opened. I ask that peace that passes all understanding flood me in every way. I want to connect only to you. If there is anything not of you around me or trying to communicate to me, I ask that it is made to be quiet. Heavenly Father, do I have a wall around my heart?" If you feel a yes, or know this to be true ask God - "Will you keep me safe and will you remove this wall? God, will you please remove this heart of stone and give me the heart you desire for me? Is there anyone you want me to forgive to help my heart heal?"

Praying to Forgive Others or Yourself
If you need to forgive yourself or others here is a guide you can use. First remember once again, that God is right there with you. That you are not alone, He is walking and guiding you through. As you pray this prayer, know that you are not saying that what the person has done or said is okay or that you will forget what happened, but you are letting it go and handing it over to God so you can be completely healed and set free.
"Heavenly Father, I choose to forgive (Name of Person) for what they did to me (or what they said/how they made me feel). I give you the lies of (whatever lies come to you - I'm not good enough, I'm not loved, I have to perform to be accepted, etc.. It is important that whatever comes to you, you give it to your Heavenly Father who loves you). Body I need you to release all of these lies to Father God. Father, thank you for taking all of the lies and I choose to receive your truth. What truths do you give me in return? Isaiah 61:3 says that He gives beauty for ashes and Matthew 12:44-45 talks about not leaving anything empty that God cleans out.
As He gives you truths write them down if you are able to. As you do, take deep breaths while your body engages the truths from God. Remember to thank God for what He gave you.
If you are having a hard time connecting (or feeling) the Truths of what God gave you, you can try tapping slowly with both hands or walking slowly, speaking what He gave you outloud.
If you heard a no:
God what Truth do you want me to engage?
If this is not the Truth you have previously engaged, give the lie to God (i.e., Father, I give you the lie that I have to perform to receive your love.) Tell your body to separate from this Lie, (i.e., if you feel the lie anywhere in your body, command it to release it, in love. For example, "Heart and Back, release the lie you have to perform to feel love and any pressure/ pain you received from this lie. This information is not helpful for you and you have permission to release it."
If it's not moving, ask God if you need to forgive someone to release this lie. When you feel a release, tell your body to connect w/ the Truth God is giving you. For example, "Body, connect w/ the truth that you are loved, regardless of what you do, have done, or will do." Whatever truth you hear from God in your mind/ know in your heart or feel to be true, govern your body to connect to this. You may walk slowly, speaking the truth to your body until you receive this. If you can not walk, tap slowly as shown on link, speaking your Truth until you feel the body connect.

Closing Doors and Gates
Colossians 3:1-4 - "Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your mind on the things above, not on the things that are on earth. For you have died and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is our life, is revealed, then you also will be revealed with Him in glory."
Psalms 27:7-10 - "Hear, O Lord, when I cry with my voice, And be gracious to me and answer me. When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You,
“Your face, O Lord, I shall seek.” Do not hide Your face from me, Do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; Do not abandon me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation!
For my father and my mother have forsaken me, But the Lord will take me up."
Isaiah 26:3 - “The steadfast of mind You will keep in perfect peace,
Because he trusts in You."
The Scripture states that we are the Temple of the Holy Spirit. Also, in Colossians 3: 1-4 states that we are in Christ, and He is our life. We are made to have our minds set on Him. Our minds are gates and our hearts are doors to whatever Kingdom we are engaged. Psalms 24:7-10 talks about the King of Glory coming into our world through our gates and doors. Because of this, It is important for Father God to sit on the throne seat of these and help us govern these important areas of our soul. Here's a way to do this:
Governing Doors:
Heavenly Father, do I have any doors in my heart (how I feel/ my emotions) that are open, that should not be? If you hear anything that is open, (i.e., Fear, Guilt, Shame, Condemnation, Depression, Rejection, etc), Tell your body (if you want), "Body, allow Father God to close the doors. God, are there any parts of me on the other side of the door?" If you hear a "yes," tell yourself (different parts of your wounded soul) what you want. It could sound like, "Body and Soul, I do not want to agree with (i.e. Condemnation) anymore. I want every part of me to come over to God's Kingdom side of this door where He takes good care of us." Once you feel a shift, ask God can you please shut the door and seal it with the blood of Jesus? Tell yourself to allow God to have governance in this area from here on out. (You may need to repeat this step if you feel a shift after having a bad dream, flashback, or if something happens that triggers this door to open in your day-to-day life).
Governing Gates:
Heavenly Father, do I have any gates engaged in lies or darkness? If so, ask God can you please clean out the gates and ask your mind to stay on the Truth of God? (Isaiah 26:3) Then ask, God is there anything else to do?"
Stay here until you hear/ feel/ know the Truth and your body connects (you can tap/ speak truth/ etc to help body engage).
Breaking Contracts
There are parts of us that have made contracts with lies or wounds. This looks like agreements with things sent by the Enemy to usurp our authority gifted by God, as His children. The Enemy wants our power and puts situations in our life to create traps for us to agree with the Enemy over the Truth of who we are. This looks like us agreeing with Death, over Life. Agreeing with Fear, not Peace. Or conditional Love, verses God’s Love. If you notice patterns in your life where there is consistent fear/ worry/ dread/ anxiety/ heaviness, etc., then your body may have a contract with something that is not from the Kingdom of God.
Breaking the Contract(s):
Heavenly Father, do I have a contract with something that is not of you?
If yes, ask what am I contracting with?
Heavenly Father, I come to you through Jesus (I imagine going to Father God on his throne of Grace with Jesus), and choose to break the contract with __________ and give the fruit back to you. Father, I give you (whatever comes to you to give to Him. Anger, loneliness, isolation, fear, etc.). Body release all of this. Father, because you are a good God and give us beauty for ashes, what do you give me in return? Wait for God to gift you. This can be peace, specific answers to prayer, other positive emotions, etc. After you receive this apply this to your body. Body (or situation), connect with (whatever God just gave you). I like to tap in His blessings by crossing both arms and tapping slowly and taking deep breaths. I allow my body to align in this gift over several minutes, while breathing, speaking what God gave me out loud, and taking breaths.
What if I Can't Hear From God?
Breaking Generational Curses
John 8:36- "So if the Son sets you free, you are truly free."
Hebrews 4:16 - "So let us come boldly to the throne of our gracious God. There we will receive his mercy, and we will find grace to help us when we need it most."
Isaiah 61:3 - “To all who mourn in Israel, he will give a crown of beauty for ashes, a joyous blessing instead of mourning, festive praise instead of despair. In their righteousness, they will be like great oaks that the Lord has planted for his own glory."
In Deuteronomy 28, the Bible informs us about blessings and curses if the people do certain things. This is connected to the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, because we are living in this Earthly realm and our flesh is still conditioned to this programming, breaking contracts is relevant. Even though God’s reality states that we are connected to Jesus, without performance or governance, our body still needs court cases so the soul can hear God state that previous contracts are null and void. And in hearing this truth, we govern our body accordingly.
In the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil, what our parents agreed with affects the children throughout the generations. So, regardless of what you did or did not do, your body is connected to previous “sin” or negative programming because of how we are made. We are really supposed to host the blessings of many generations inside of us; however, many people still host curses.
To govern this line of curses, there is a simple communication between Heavenly Father, with Jesus’ help, and you.
Breaking Generational Curses:
Heavenly Father/ Jesus/ Holy Spirit, do I have any generational curses in my family line that needs to be removed? If yes, proceed below:
Heavenly Father, I come to you through Jesus (I imagine going to the Throne of Grace with Jesus with me), and plead the blood of Jesus (this pleading is as in a court case where a person can plead their case, plead innocence, etc) over my family line regarding (whatever you are told that needs to be removed. I.e., lust, greed, lying, selfishness, etc.). God, I give you (give whatever God tells you to give. I.e., anger, loneliness, frustration, etc.). (If you do not hear anything, ask God if you need to forgive first- go to forgiveness if you need help with this). Once you give the fruit of the curses, then ask God what do you give me in return? He will give blessing for curses (for example, confidence, love, peace, etc). Once you hear these blessings, tell your body to connect to this gift instead of the previous curse(s) of the past.
What if I Can't Hear From God?
Clearing out the rooms in my Heart
Psalms 139:23-24 "Search me, O God, and know my heart; Try me and know my anxious thoughts; And see if there be any hurtful way in me, And lead me in the everlasting way."
THE GOAL IS TO ALLOW THE KINGDOM OF GOD TO COME THROUGH OUR HEART TO GOVERN EVERYTHING GOD HAS PUT UNDERNEATH OUR AUTHORITY AND FOR EVERYTHING UNDERNEATH OUR AUTHORITY TO EXPERIENCE THE KINGDOM OF GOD NOW, ON EARTH AS IT IS IN HEAVEN.
Our heart has many rooms (or we have been given authority over many things). Our heart has been programmed by previous generations or situations in our life-time. To have governance over the rooms as God intended there are some tools that can help:
God has given us authority over many things, because we are His kids and we are made in His image. If we are programmed to the reality of something other than His kingdom, we govern from something lower than His kingdom. God states we are a body, and our heart is a life source for this body. Our heart is connected to the many things we govern and is programmed by experiences or is taught by previous generations. Sometimes we can be so wounded that our heart puts up a wall to protect ourself from anything and everything. For example, we can love our child(ren) but they might not feel our love because of the wall around our hearts.
Prayer: God please search my heart and see if there is any darkness in it. (Psalms 139:23-24) If God highlights a room, ask "God are you seated on the Throne Seat of this room?" for example, if he highlights the room of Finance, see if he is seated in the throne seat. Then ask "Is there anything in this room that needs to be cleared out?" He might tell you what he's taking out or He may just clean it out. You can see the room in your mind or you can hear what He's doing in your thoughts, or you can feel a shift, or you can see results later. Notice what He is putting in the room. See if there is need of forgiveness in this room, doors shut, or truths to enter. Tell your heart that God is safe and you want Him to stay in authority and to hear his direction. Speak the truth outloud until your body is calmed to this reality.
